This darling couple, Kirstin+Bob, came to me via two of my other favorite couples Melissa+Brano and Anna+Matt. And so I knew they more be more than lovely. However, I felt oh-so fortunate when I sat down to meet beautiful Kirstin and her amazing mom, Alana, and then, to meet her adorable hubby-to-be Bob. The couple and both families were as gracious and delightful as anyone could ask to work with. And so, of course, they invited the most talented bunch of vendors to help collaborate on their big day. The details are stunning due to this great group, but the wedding’s dearest and most treasured moments came simply out of the love that the couple have for one another and the incredible support system they have in their dearest friends and family. A prized moment…the first glance on the glorious Beaulieu Garden driveway. Yes, I tortured them a bit with the build up. It was so sweet. Vendors include (in all their fabulous!)…Coordinating: Melissa Panico of Map Events, Caterer: Paula Le Duc,Flowers & Set: Cherries Flowers, Makeup and Hair: Kathleen Gorga and Mikaela South, Videography: Jesse Hartman, Band: Live Wire, Music: Starlight Strings, Cake: Cheryl Lew of Montclair Baking, and the Wedding Dress: Oscar de La Renta at Mark Ingram Bridal Atelier NYC.

Liz and Errol got married in January at the gorgeous Old St.Hilary’s Church in Tiburon. It was an amazing day with the sun shining.
The wedding went off without a hitch and it was wonderful to see such a great couple come together. I had taken Liz and Errol’s engagements in December, for a little practice in front of the camera and, more importantly, to document their new daughter to be. Liz was five months pregnant and they are expecting a gorgeous little girl named London Olivia. And although I could share numerous photos of this wonderful wedding event, what struck me the most about this couple is how they are bringing two families together in such a loving and caring way. Errol’s kids, Miranda and Lewis, couldn’t be more excited about the couple and Olivia’s arrival. And it shows in the pictures. I adore the couple’s first moment and how the kids and pregnancy are intertwined with this special time for all. I am looking forward to London’s arrival, they will be amazing parents again. Thanks to my second shooter Jessica Epstein for her wonderful contributions.

Absolutely honored to have Jillian+Sean featured in this winter’s edition of the Knot. The couple and family were an absolute joy to work with. And this 4 page spread shows the amazing time, energy, and love that they put into the wedding at Meadowood… along with their dynamic team… Melissa Panico of MAP events, stunning design by Radeff Design Studio, an ethereal and magic video by Joe Serrato Films, A Day in May for the gorgeous collateral, immaculate makeup and hair by Sarah Hyde, and a perfect cake by Perfect Endings. I also wanted the opportunity to thank my amazing second shooter, Jessica Epstein, for her beautiful work as always. And we will never forget the “Miracle” Dress by Monique Lhuillier. We were thrilled to be a part of this amazing day in celebration of a fabulous and loving couple. xo

Mallory is just too good to me. As always, she has covered one of my favorite weddings, Melissa+Ramin, most beautifully today in the gorgeous blog Style Me Pretty. Melissa+Ramin is a wedding full of heart, love, and culture. And when you add in the joy of an antique ferris wheel at an organic farm as beautiful as Bear Flag Farm, the results are enchanting and magical. And the story is unforgettable. Tina Reikes, the owner of Bear Flag, was the magician behind this well conceived design, along with an amazing list of vendors who share an incredible talent and enthusiasm for this couple.

Themba+Casper are on roll this week. This is a topper as anything Preston Bailey endorses is a show stopper, and certainly, someone to take look at. Jennifer Saltzman, one of my lovely brides, and the creator of all things beautiful via her company Press Engaged was spotlighted recently in Preston’s blog, Bride Ideas. We are so fortunate to have Jen showcase the invite collateral she dreamed up for our African inspired shoot, Themba+Casper. It is an honor to be included with Jennifer’s work, as she is pure talent and someone you should all know better!

It is such a big compliment to have an inspired design blog such as Apartment #34 post Themba and Casper. With the truest creative partnership in stylist Mary Kinney of Sister/Brother Style, this story of love, politics, culture and style came together in the most beautiful form. Though the story and vision were our beginnings, the team that executed the journey, the product, and the set design were of unbelievable talent. The full list of vendors who dedicated their time and energies here. As for Apt. 34, the beginnings started with Mrs. E as she renovated a newly purchased apartment in Seattle. Her ideas, vision, and love of design and decor helped to beautify her new digs, as well as, create a daily finds blog that serves as the best resource for all things lovely and exciting. The blog features finds from fashion, decor, weddings, interior to food, photography and whatever else captures her eye. And we are beyond excited that Apartment #34 will be moving to our foggy city sometime in the very near future.
