I cannot believe how brilliant Alan Ball (of American Beauty fame) is. The second season of my fave show True Blood has proved to be just as powerful and incredible as the first. I sit on the edge of my seat for the entire 60 minutes. And after its over, I just spin into a daze for the next 24 hours trying to make sense of what just happened. And there is no doubt that Stephen Moyer’s Bill Compton makes the show even more delicious! The acting overall is brilliant showcasing Anna Paquin as the main highlight Sookie. I remember photographing Anna for her premiere of Buffalo Soldiers at the 2003 Sundance Film Festival. It is amazing to see how evolved she has become as an actress.
I look forward to many more Sunday nights of vampires, shifters, and whatever else AB wants to throw at us!

Its January again, which means its Sundance Film Festival time! For me, this also means a much needed two- week break. December was quite the blur of work this year, so I am so excited to put my feet up and get lost in the wonderful and inspiring world of film.
This year marks the 25th anniversary and the film line up is awesome. I should see about 25-30 film in total, so be sure to check back for my list of favorites. I love the fact that the movies evoke questions, dialog, change, dreams, and debates. There are always a long list of tearjerkers and I am crazy about the docs. Its a great way to open your eyes to the world and get a taste of what’s out there beyond your own day to day lives.
Here’s a list of some of my past favorites:
Wow, I just realized this could go on for days…Stay tune for my 2009 list. And I am sure I missed a few favorites, so I would love to hear yours???
